My goal of this project was to improve customers’ experience on the alert setting page to enable them to get access to the required alerts faster. Enhance the experience of setting up new alerts.
- The majority of clients had an issue in setting up new alerts and executing those alert settings in their property.
- Many of the clients had a hard time finding the right alert settings for them because of too much information on the dashboard.
Enable clients to create new alerts using sensors by providing intuitive and easy alert selection, it ultimately saves the company more time.
I started with sketching what each page would look like and what kind of content would be displayed including the layout and orientation of overall composition of web page.
The wireframes introduced a new user flow inspired by common patterns found by user research.
Enable clients to create and use new alerts on their own.
- Saves time of the company.
- Doesn’t create any confusion while implying those sensors in a building.
- Task Completion Rate to 92%
- Increased Satisfaction Rate
- Qualitative Positive Feedback
- Create a new alert by adding 3 sensors.
- Edit alert and rename it.
- Send message to manager 2 only.
Get the most efficient design to the user.
- Saves time of the stakeholder
- Without any uncertainty create alerts and notification.
- Click-through Rate
- Conversion Rate
There were 2 design versions we tested in our company. Both designs fulfill the user's requirements. I designed both versions but the user flow of the first design was proposed by me which got selected by the stakeholder and company after completing a few tasks and reviewing the conversion rate.
I started with sketching what each page would look like and what kind of content would be displayed including the layout and orientation of overall composition of web page.
Comping up next, I intend to run another usability test to calculate the task completion rate. The goal is to enable stakeholder to find the sensors and alerts they need on their own.By increasing the task completion rate, the number of making incorrectly alerts and choice of mistaken sensors is diminished. This eventually saves the electric energy and stakeholder additional time.
- Displaying all the sensors on dashboard assisted stakeholder making decision faster.
- Over-impart everything to all stakeholders and never makes assumptions. I worked with other designers, product managers, CEO & users through usability testing.
- Always test out all the versions of your designs (A/B Testing) to get the most efficient design for the user.
- Design for adaptability in my design system is fundamental so it tends to be reused effectively.
